What if the course is full or I can't make any of the course dates?
If you can't get to one of the regular courses, you may wish to organise your own course with friends in your own home(s).

What if I can't make one of the sessions?
The massage is repeated at every session and your folder contains detailed illustrations and descriptions of the massage strokes and information on the topics discussed.  You will also be able to borrow or purchase the recommended course book Infant Massage; A Handbook for Loving Parents. Should you miss a session you are welcome to join that week on the next course.

What if I need to feed my baby?
The room is set up for comfortable and discreet breast-feeding and there are facilities to warm bottles.  You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes before the start if you wish to feed.  The massage strokes are repeated regularly throughout the course.

What if my baby sleeps during the course?
You will be able to massage a special 'massage doll' while your baby sleeps.

What if my baby cries?
We will acknowledge and welcome your baby's communication.  We are always happy to listen to what the babies are telling us.  Crying during the massage may help your baby to release tension.  You can stop the massage any time and listen to or answer your baby's needs.

What if my baby urinates during the massage?
We encourage you to undress your baby and provide a suitably warm environment.  It is very likely that your baby will urinate during the massage!  You will be asked to bring a towel with you and tissue is provided.  Some parents choose to keep an open nappy under their baby.

What age should I bring my baby?
The current recommendation is that babies under six weeks are better off having massage in their homes, in order to keep them sufficiently warm.  However, if you wish to bring a colicky baby under six weeks to the group you could massage them through their clothes.

My baby has special needs, can I join the course?
You and your baby are very welcome.  We will work with you to adjust the massage for your situation and your baby's needs.

I've got twins, can I join the course?
You will be very welcome and you may bring a friend or partner if you wish. 

May I bring my partner?
Yes - partners are very welcome and can also attend in your place.

What if my baby is crawling?
You may wish to organise a Music, Massage and Movement course or Workshop - for babies from crawling to toddlers.

What should I wear?
We advise you to dress in layers as the room will be warm enough for the babies to be undressed.  Loose, casual clothes, so that you can sit comfortably on the floor, are ideal.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring a towel and changing mat, or equivalent, along with your usual baby bag. Sunflower Oil is provided for the massage, with alternative organic vegetable oils for sensitive skins.
