Mummy Massage

Clare Lowing has been practicing Massage and Aromatherapy since 1998 (ITEC Diplomas). In 2002 she qualified as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) with the International Association of Infant Massage. Since then, she has worked with over two hundred families in South Oxfordshire and, since 2004, in East Devon.
In 2006, as part of the development of the Music, Massage & Movement course, Clare undertook Workshops with BodyBasics (Massage for Toddlers and PreSchool Children) and Musikgarten ( Music with Preschool Children).
In 2007 Clare began training with the NCT as an Antenatal Teacher. This year she also qualified as a Mother Supporter with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers ( www.abm.me.uk ). Clare is keen to support breastfeeding mothers and can refer parents to local Breastfeeding Counsellors.
Clare is currently Regional Representative for the International Association of Infant Massage in which role she organises meetings and Stroke Reviews and offers support to local Certified Infant Massage Instructors.
Clare has two daughters, born in 2001 and 2004; she has massaged them both since birth.
Clare Lowing (MCThA) is an Embody Professional, registered, insured and “police checked” for her suitability to work with children.
