About our instructor
Clare Lowing has been practicing Massage and Aromatherapy since 1998 (ITEC Diplomas). In 2002 she qualified as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) with the International Association of Infant Massage. Since then, she has introduced massage to over 600 families.
Inspired by the pleasure music brought to massage with her own children, in 2006, Clare developed a new Music, Massage & Movement course for older babies and toddlers. Clare's research has included training with BodyBasics and Musikgarten. In 2009 she worked on a Youth Music Project introducing Music to Early Years Settings.
In 2007 Clare began training with the NCT as an Antenatal Teacher and qualified as a Mother Supporter with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers ( www.abm.me.uk ). Clare is keen to support breastfeeding mothers and can refer parents to local Breastfeeding Counsellors.
Clare has two daughters, born in 2001 and 2004; she has massaged them both since birth.
Clare Lowing is registered, insured and “police checked” for her suitability to work with children.
