"I give L a full body massage once a week and he loves it, especially the songs to go with it! During the week I will massage certain body parts whenever we have time and I am changing his nappy, mostly his legs and feet, as that is easiest, but also his face and back. What you have taught us is really helpful, as I could not have come up with all the different strokes and songs myself, so thanks again!" Maren, Exeter, July 2009.

Welcome to Babies Love Massage, promoting the benefits of baby massage through courses and one-to-one sessions throughout Exeter and East Devon.

baby being massaged

The first few months after the birth of a baby can be both joyful and challenging. Baby massage classes can help support parents through this time of change by allowing them the time and space to nurture themselves as well as their babies.

Why should parents massage their babies?

Back Massage

Clinical evidence shows that loving, touching, nurturing contact between parent and baby has a positive impact on subsequent development. For the baby, a massage is far more than a luxurious experience or physical therapy. It is a tool for maintaining health and well-being on many different levels, as well as providing parent and baby with time to bond, relax and communicate with one another.
